This acquisition for the Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements for WPAFB is set aside for 8(a) competition limited to 8(a) firms located within the geographical area of the state of Ohio and other 8(a) firms with Bona Fide place of business within the geographical competitive area, and assigned NAICS code (236220). The SEED Project Site Visit will take place on 24 February 2021, and there will be multiple time slots in order to maintain smaller groups due to COVID. Those companies interested in participating in the SEED Project Site VIsit shall register no later than close of business on Friday, 19 February 2021, by contacting Ms. Reba Rash at rebecca.rash@us.af.mil. In the registration email the following must be included: Name of Firm/Company, First and Last names of Individuals attending site visit, & role/position of each individual attending the site visit. Please note, each firm/company planning to attend the site visit is limited to a maximum of three (3) individuals for the site visit. Once all firms/companies are registered for the site visit, time slots will be assigned. If a firm/company has a preference of morning or afternoon for the visit, they shall include that in their registration and it will try to be accomodated; however, please note that it may not be possible to visit during the most preferred block of time. Additionally, participants of the site visit shall meet in the parking lot of the Hope Hotel located just outside of Area A of Wright-Patterson AFB. Bussing will be provided onto base and to the site visit location. Please note, masks are required to be worn at all times during the visit on the installation. Further details regarding the time of the site visit will be communicated to each firm/company no later than close of business on 22 February, 2021, once all firms/companies are registered. Any other questions regarding the solicitation document or attachments shall be communicated via email to the POCs listed in the solicitation document. Any questions received from contractors as well as the Governments responses will be uploaded as an attachment to this solicitation and will be updated as answers are provided. Please note: The last day for RFIs to be submitted to the Government is Friday, 5 March. The Government will provide responses to the RFIs NLT COB Tuesday, 9 March. Please also note: Per the solicitation instructions, a drop off code for proposal can be requested no more than 14 days and no less than 3 days prior to the proposal due date. Additionally, As-Built drawings and drawings of electrical/HVAC/Water lines for the SEED project have been uploaded to the attachments of this solicitation. Note: Proposal due date for this solicitation has been extended to 16 March 2021 at 1:00 PM EST.
