This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supply prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Please provide a narrative statement from your company on how you can successfully cover your financial responsibilities for the rebuild of the interconnecting cable sets inside this test bench. Along with this narrative, please provide any substantiating documentation that you feel would bolster your position. Examples of substantiating documentation can be found at DFARS 232.072-2 Quotations should be emailed to Jonathon VanBrunt (jonathon.vanbrunt@us.af.mil) no later than Thursday, 31 JULY at 4:00 pm EST. Vendors are required to complete and sign solicitation document and return it with their quote. Please include your CAGE CODE in your quote or email. The 580th SWES maintains a fiber channel connected communication processor test bench at RAFB. This is a requirement to rebuild the interconnecting cable sets inside this test bench, and need a contractor to build the four (4) Fiber Optic Cables.
