This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The purpose of this acquisition is to establish a firm fixed price contract for long term sustainment support for eight Diesel/Electric Polyalphaolefin (PAO) Cooling Carts, part number (P/N) LCU-050, manufactured by TLD America Corporation. This includes training, repairs, travel, development of technical orders, and provisioning. The proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source by this request for proposal. This acquisition is sole source to TLD America Corporation (CAGE 6L481) IAW DAFFARS 5313.501 – 10 U.S.C. 3572, Implementation of Simplified Acquisition Procedures (41 U.S.C. 1901). Policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items will be used along with FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The Government contemplates a definitive contract with a one-year Basic and four one-year Options. Proposals are due 16 August 2024 3:30 PM EST. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation at SAM.gov. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED, and no hard copies will be mailed out. The U.S. Government does not own any technical data for this requirement.
