The United States Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Program Office (PO) AFLCMC/WNY, Robins Air Force Base, GA, is conducting market research to identify parties having interest, expertise, and resources to develop Digital Antenna Electronics (DAE) for multiple Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) constellation systems. The required capabilities are Anti-Jam (AJ), Anti-Spoof (AS), and Situational Awareness (SA) across the entire multi-GNSS spectrum (Global Positioning System {GPS} frequency bands L1, L2, and L5). The goal includes the development of an open standard interface between the DAE and the legacy and future GPS and multi-GNSS receivers. A re-programmable DAE will be required due to evolving technical requirements. For instance, interface solutions capable of accommodating fielded state-of-the-art AJ systems and capabilities, such as multiple beam steering, as well as anticipated M-Code capable aircraft navigation architectures like those to be featured in re-programmable Software-Defined User Equipment (SDUE) and the Resilient Embedded GPS/Inertial Navigation System (INS) (R-EGI) are desired. Minimal aircraft/weapon hardware and Operational Flight Program (OFP) changes are desired, though modernized interfaces that demand future hardware updates will still be considered.
