This statement provides notice that the Government anticipates awarding a primarily Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), in addition to Cost Plus Fixed-Fee (CPFF) and Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) contract, for the procurement of Miniaturized Airborne Global Positioning (GPS) Receiver 2000 (MAGR 2K) and MAGR 2K Modernization (MAGR 2K-M). The Contractor shall provide efforts required to complete production of MAGR 2K units, production of MAGR 2K-M units, production of MAGR 2K-M Production Representative Units (PRUs), production of Unisolated MAGR Mounts, production of Isolated MAGR Mounts, MAGR 2K repairs, MAGR 2K-M repairs, MAGR 2K-IF repairs, MAGR 2K-RF repairs, MAGR 2K-S(RF) repairs, Technical Services and Demilitarization. See a listing on the applicable NSNs listed below: MAGR 2K-IF (NSN 5826-01-463-0993, NSN 5826-01-490-3309), MAGR 2K-RF (NSN 5826-01-463-2309), MAGR 2KS-RF (NSN 5826-01-521-3421), MAGR 2KS-524D (NSN 5826-01-567-6367), MAGR 2K-M (NSN 5826-01-673-8421), Isolated Mount (NSN 5975-01-386-6836) and Unisolated Mount (NSN 5975-01-387-6762). The contracting action resulting from this solicitation will be a firm-fixed-price Requirements Indefinite Delivery contract (IDC) with a one-year Basic Ordering Period, followed by four one-year Ordering Periods. The place of performance will be specified in the forthcoming solicitation. The approximate Solicitation Issue Date will be 22 August 2022. Once posted the solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading at www.sam.gov only. No telephone or fax requests will be honored. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. All quotes shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. Based upon market research, the Government will be using the policies contained in FAR Part 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements in its solicitation for the described services (10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)), to award a sole-source contract to Raytheon Company (CAGE: 4U884). In accordance with AFI 16-201, foreign participation is not permitted at the prime contractor level.
