The Contractor shall provide all the: tools, parts, materials, equipment, transportation, and labor of the Facilitate Other Maintenance (FOM) Cage w/Install at Bldg 149 for the Maintenance Support Group (AMXG) at Robins Air Force Base (AFB), Georgia. Please see the attached files for additional information. Update: 22 October 2024 The solicitation close date has been extended to Tuesday, 29 October 2024 at 3:00pm EST. Additional documents will NOT be provided. If needed, please bring a printed copy of the documents attached to the original solicitation post on SAM.gov. Any questions asked by contractors will be provided below with the answers. Any contractor that has submitted a quote is free to make updates and resubmit by the requested time and date. FAQ: Q: The post will be plated but it is ok to drill the post in the ground and anchor them? A: The post plates will be anchored to the floor; posts will not penetrate floor. Q: How should the quote be submitted? A: Please submit your quote to the primary point of contact listed within this solicitation. PDF or Word document is preferred. Just provide a price based on the line items found within the Letter RFQ, but feel free to provide a more detailed breakdown if preferred. Q: What gauge wired is required for the fencing? Will that be 9 gauge? A: The Fence will be 9Ga wire. Q:Should barb wire be installed at the top of the fence? A: No, barb wire is not needed. Q:How big should the corner, end, and line posts be? Should the terminal posts all be 3” and line posts 2.5”? A: Sizes on the posts are 2 ½” Terminal Post , 2” Line Post & 1 5/8” Top Rail Q:Will there only be two man gates? A: 2 Ea. 10’ Sliding Gates , 2 Ea. 20’ Sliding Gates , 2 Ea. 3’ Personnel (swinging) Gates Q:Should anchors be used to secure the posts in lieu of core drilling into the slab? A: All posts will need to be flanged and anchored into the concrete.
