This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for proposal and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05. This is a sole source requirement under the authority at FAR 6.302-1 "Only one responsible source" and all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The Contractor shall provide advanced airworthy additive manufacturing (AM) capability and capacity to the USAF at WR-ALC/CMXG, Robins AFB, GA including delivery, installation, and certification of one GE Concept Laser mode M2 Series 5 additive manufacturing system and associated peripheral and post-processing equipment. The only approved source for these items is General Electric (GE) Company. This solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Priced Delivery Order against the GE Captain of Industries (COI) Supplier Capability Contract (SCC).
