The Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) System Program Office (SPO) is conducting market research on hardware/firmware based encryption/decryption systems that meet the technical requirements specified herein in Crypto Device Requirements_Revision 2, dated 31 March 2025. With this request for information (RFI) the IBS SPO is seeking responses from interested parties to inform a potential acquisition strategy for the encryption/decryption system. The IBS SPO intends to use responses to this RFI to determine whether sources exist, and whether a potential acquisition can be competitively awarded and/or a Small Business Set-Aside. The Government respectfully requests that interested parties respond to this RFI. However, this RFI does not commit the Government to issue a contract for any material, supply, or service. The Government is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred as a result of responding to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the expense of the interested party. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation for proposals, if any is issued. If a solicitation is issued, it will be synopsized on Sam.gov if required.
