This requirement is for repair of the M61A1 20mm Hydraulic Drive (HyDrive) to support sustainment of the 20mm M61A1 Gatling gun on the F-16 fighter aircraft. The Hydrive consists of a control valve and a motor. The control valve uses solenoid operation pilot valves to actuate the motor control spool which regulates flow at both the inlet and outlet of the motor and provides the mechanical power to operate the 20 mm M61A1 Gatling gun. The Government intends to establish a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) limited competitive contract. This effort is IAW Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, Only One or a Limited Number of Responsible Sources and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Solicitation is expected to be issued approximately 22 May 2020 with response due 22 June 2020. Delivery schedule to be 60 calendar days ARO to SW3119. The Request For Proposal will be posted at beta.SAM.gov.
