The Government is conducting market research to identify potential non-commercial sources capable of repairing the B-52 Radar Pressurized Unit (RPU), NSN 1280-00-898-3679, P/N 101-352. This RFI will help determine whether a future contract can be competitively awarded and/or awarded on a total or partial Small Business Set-Aside basis under NAICS 334511. The original equipment manufacturer was Great Lakes Manufacturing Corp., but the Government does not own the technical data package or the rights to the data required for manufacture. AeroControlEx Corp. is the only known current supplier, and the Government aims to mitigate single-source supply chain risk and ensure long-term sustainment for the B-52 fleet. The primary objective is to develop a new qualified source for this item; this is a Request for Information only and no proposals are being requested.
