The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources qualified to repair the Solid-State Crystal Controlled Oscillator/Isolator Assembly, NSN 5955-01-089-1801, P/N 164-029-0001. The RFI will help determine whether a future contract effort can be competitively awarded and/or set aside for small business, under NAICS 334511. The Government does not own the complete technical data package or unlimited rights to the required technical data; the original manufacturer is Norden Systems (Northrop Grumman), with Cobham as a secondary obsolete source. The primary objective is to qualify a new competitive manufacturing source capable of providing a form, fit, function, and interface replacement to reduce supply-chain risk, avoid obsolescence bottlenecks, and support long-term sustainment of the B-52 fleet.
