This synopsis is to announce that the Warner Robins Air Force Sustainment Center (WR-ALC), Robins AFB, GA, intends to solicit ,Raytheon Technical Services Company, 6125 East 21st St., Indianapolis, IN 46219-2001 (072E5). The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The contract is anticipated to be awarded as an Indefinite Delivery, Requirements type instrument with provisions for Firm Fixed Price repair Contract Line Items (CLINS). A solicitation will be issued on or about 20 September 2020. This requirement effort is for the repair of the Radio Frequency Amplifier assets for the Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS) AN/URC-107. The Period of Performance will be a basic 12-month period plus four additional ordering periods, plus an optional six month extension, starting at date of award. All units and subassemblies delivered by the contractor will be 100% tested, serviceable and compatible with stock listed assets of the JTIDS product baseline and the System Segment Specification (SSS). This synopsis is NOT to be considered as a commitment by the Government or as a Request for Proposals. A determination by the Government whether or not to complete the contract based upon assessment of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information recieved will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitve procurement. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)ii, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. It is suggested that small busincess firms or other interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement should contact the firm listed. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concersn from offerors or potential offerors not sufficiently addressed by the Contracting Officer. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the Contracting Officer, but communicated contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the approriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentially as to the source of the concern.
