B-52 Data Interface Unit/Data Transfer Receptacle (DTR) - Buy and Repair F3I DTR
The Government is conducting market research to identify sources capable of manufacturing and repairing the B-52 Data Interface Unit/Data Transfer Receptacle (DTR), an avionics line replaceable unit with two DTRs installed per aircraft. The effort supports a competitive buy-and-repair requirement for the new Form, Fit, Function, and Interface (F3I) DTR using Government-owned or controlled technical data. Required scope includes new production, repair-and-return of unserviceable units, obsolete-parts and DMSMS resolution, engineering support for deficiency reports, inspection/test/acceptance procedures, configuration management, and all necessary facilities, equipment, and materials. Both large and small businesses, including joint ventures and teaming arrangements, are encouraged to provide capability documentation, and respondents may identify work that should be set aside exclusively for Small Business. This is market research only and does not constitute a solicitation or a commitment to award a contract.
