The intent of this Synopsis, in accordance with FAR 5.201, is to add the following sole-source action onto the already established, Defense Logistics Agency Long Term Corporate, contract with Raytheon Company, SPRBL1-15-D-0017; the period of performance for this contract ends September 2025. Market research suggests that Raytheon is the sole approved source capable of providing the required repair for the components of the AAQ-29. This repair services period of performance is for five (5) years and extends beyond the current expiration date of SPRBL1-15-D-0017. Once the follow on contract is executed, the period of performance will be added via modification. This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Reimbursable (CR) Repair and Engineering Services requirement for multiple NSN's for multiple systems. This effort is sole source to Raytheon Company. Raytheon Company (CAGES: 06129, 06845, 072E5, 1LZU1, 37695, 6X892, 96214, 4C2N0). SPRBL1-15-D-0017 is a five (5) year Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract providing for the support of sole-source Raytheon requirements to include spare parts, repairs, engineering services, maintenance, training, kits and performance based logistics. The contract was awarded on 28 September 2015. The period of performance includes a one (1) year base period followed by four (4) year re-determinable option period. The contract maximum ceiling is $8B. Authority for this requirement is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One or a Limited Number of Responsible Sources, and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirement.
