C-5 MLG Trunnion Bearing
The Air Force requires a depot-level re-manufacturing service for the C-5 MLG trunnion bearing, a plain self-aligning spherical bearing used for landing gear retraction and extension. This will be a five-year Requirements Type Contract with one one-year basic period and four one-year ordering periods, each with a best estimated quantity of 64 units. The acquisition will be full and open competition using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation. To be eligible, offerors must be on the government's pre-approved qualified source list or submit a complete Source Approval Request (SAR) package. The government owns the technical data package, and interested parties must be registered in the Joint Certification Program to access it.
