C-5 Tension Regulator Synopsis Amendment 1 (28 MAY 2024): Due to a delay, the Solicitation was not posted per the below. This amendment is being posted to re-activate the Synopsis and provide notice that the Solicitation will be posted by or before 7 June 2024. The Air Force has a requirement for depot-level repair of the C -5 Tension Regulator for use by the United States Air Force (USAF) in support of the C-5 Galaxy cargo aircraft. Notice ID: FA8538-23-R-0010 Synopsis for this requirement is being issued by AFSC/PZAAB (FA8538). Synopsis is for issuance of a Firm Fixed Price Requirements type Request for Proposal FA8538-23-R-0010 for repair services applicable to the C-5 Tension Regulator components for use by the United States Air Force (USAF) in support of the C-5 Galaxy cargo aircraft. The planned acquisition is a five (5) year contract including a basic one-year period and Four (4) one-year ordering periods. NSNs are as follows: 1680-00-013-8806 NOUN: C-5 Tension Regulator BEQ: 10 This acquisition will be SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE (FAR 19.502-2). The GOVERNMENT OWNS A FULL AND COMPLETE TECHNICAL DATA PACKAGE. Interested parties SHALL be registered in the Joint Certification Program and approved to view Export Control, and SHALL submit evidence of their certification in order to obtain the associated technical data packages. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT INFORMATION PRIOR TO RELEASE OF THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). More information will be provided via the SAM.gov posting at the release of the RFP. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 22 JUNE 2023.
