This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the C-5 Nose Landing Gear (NLG) Door Gearboxes for use on United States Air Force (USAF) aircraft to meet qualification requirements for the overhaul of C-5 Nose Landing Gear Door Gearboxes: NSN 1680-01-172-9295UC/PN:182700-2, NSN 1680-01-173-0434UC/PN: 182700-3, NSN: 1680-01-161-7430UC/PN: 182750-1, NSN:1680-01-159-9591UC/PN:177380-2, NSN:1680-01-159-9590 UC/PN:177370-2 for USAF aircrafts. This overhaul effort will utilize a Requirements Type Contract. Contract period of performance will be eight (8) years. It will consist of a one (1) year basic period and four (4) one (1) year ordering periods with three (1) one-year options. The projected quantities will be an aggregate total of all NSNs, the basic year is 16 and a range from 13-18 for the following ordering periods.
