The Air Force has a requirement for depot-level repair of various C-5 Fire Suppression System (FSS) components for use by the United States Air Force (USAF) in support of the C-5 Galaxy cargo aircraft. Notice ID: FA8538-21-R-0006 Synopsis for this requirement is being issued by AFSC/PZAAB (FA8538). Synopsis is for issuance of a Firm Fixed Price Requirements type Request for Proposal FA8538-21-R-0006 for repair services applicable to the C-5 Fire Suppression System (FSS) components for use by the United States Air Force (USAF) in support of the C-5 Galaxy cargo aircraft. This effort is to be a Firm Fixed Price Requirements type 5 year contract, consisting of a one year Basic Ordering Period and four (4) one year Ordering Periods. The GOVERNMENT OWNS A FULL AND COMPLETE TECHNICAL DATA PACKAGE. Interested parties SHALL be registered in the Joint Certification Program and approved to view Export Control, and SHALL submit evidence of their certification in order to obtain the associated technical data packages. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 13 JULY 2021.
