Synopsis is for AFSC/PZAAB in support of the 409 SCMS/GUMAA for issuance of a Fixed Price Requirements type Request for Proposal FA8538-20-R-0002 for repair services applicable to the C-5 Data Link Printer (DLP). This effort will be a 5 year contract consisting of a Basic Ordering Period and four (4) one year ordering periods. This synopsis is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Other Than Full and Open procedures in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1. Specification, plans or drawings relating to this procurement described above are not available and can’t be furnished by the Government. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Supplies or services required to satisfy agency requirements are available from only one responsible source ASTRO NOVA (CAGE Code: 54318) West Warwick, Rhode Island. The following information applies: The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiated with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, the Technical Director of Contracting has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Technical Director of Contracting is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Technical Director of Contracting will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Technical Director of Contracting does not participate in the evaluation of the proposals in the source selection process.
