The equipment is required to perform operational checks and currently the government does not own the technical data to pursue a full and open competition product and repair strategy. Chemring Energetic Devices, Inc. is the sole source manufacturer of this support equipment and is the only source capable of responding. As the manufacturer of the equipment, Chemring Energetic Devices, Inc. owns and processes all data necessary to meet this requirement. Data was not procured and no other known sources have access to Chemring Energetic Devices's data. They do not intend to sell the data nor is it economical to purchase it from Chemring Energetic Devices, Inc.
