The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements for the manufacture and delivery of large scale cryogenics storage tanks comprised of three sizes and two types of skid mounted horizontal storage tanks that are capable of storing and delivering liquid oxygen or liquid nitrogen. Sizes and types may be seen below: Type I – Liquid Oxygen Type II – Liquid Nitrogen Size A – 1,500 gallon Size B – 3,000 gallon Size C – 6,000 gallon The tanks shall be a complete self-contained, liquid oxygen or liquid nitrogen storage unit consisting of an inner and outer tank with a vacuum maintained in the annular space between the tanks. The system shall also include all parts, controls, instruments, and accessories needed to meet the design and performance specifications identified in the attached Commercial Item Description (CID).
