This government solicitation has been provided (sole source) to Robertson Fuel Systems (RFS), L.L.C., CAGE: 1T765 for the repair of the 200 gallon internal auxiliary fuel tank system (AAFTS). This sole source solicitation to RFS is expected to result a 5 year Firm Fixed Priced Contract containing 1 Basic Ordering Period plus 4 additional Ordering periods. RFS shall furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services. RFS is responsible for providing, maintaining, and calibrating all support equipment required at their facility or a subcontractor’s facility. Contractor furnished material or parts used for replacement shall equal or exceed the quality of the original material or parts. Additional Information: Results of the previously advertised RFI (Sources Sought) notice, posted 28 November 2018 determined that RFS is the only source to possess the repair data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to repair the HH-60 helicopter 200 gallon fuel tank. The Government does not own or have access to the data for these items and has determined the repair can be performed commercially by RFS--the actual manufacturer. The data needed to complete the repairs are not physically available to the government; cannot be obtained economically; and it's not possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate and economical description of the repair in order to solicit competitively. Attached is the solicitation. All attachments pertaining to the solicitation will be provided upon written request to the Buyer/PCO and on a need to know basis.
