This is a Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment, Requirements type contract with a 1 year basic and four 1 year option periods for the production and repair of 463L Cargo Pallets. The related Solicitation/RFP # is FA8534-19-R-0005 and was issued on 24 May 2019. DESCRIPTION: The 463L cargo pallet is used to transport cargo up to 10,000 lbs. onboard military cargo aircraft, including the C-5, C-17, and C-130. The pallet is constructed of two inch thick balsa wood, with aluminum skins bonded to the top and bottom.
