Noun: Trousers, Anti-G Part Number National Stock Number CSU22/P-22 8475-01-695-4636 CSU22/P-25 8475-01-695-4640 CSU22/P-28 8475-01-695-4644 Advanced Technology Anti-Gravity Suit (ATAGS) is a full coverage garment with bladders designed to counter G forces (or G-loc). The Advanced Technology Anti-Gravity Suit (ATAGS) is a critical life support item that protects aircrew members from the effects of a high G environment and G-loss of consciousness (G-loc) by applying pressure to the majority of the lower body. There is a need to modify the legacy ATAGS in support of the Chief of Staff of Air Force (CSAF) mandated FITMENT program. The modifications or "enhancements" are comprised of three G-suit lacing areas (side waist, thigh, and calf), custom tailoring alternative to the front waist panel, otherwise referred to as a "waist dart" or "custom waist modification", reinforced knee, a cover for the ATAGS waist slide fastener assembly and lastly the Modified ATAGS will be manufactured utilizing new Long Staple II (LS II) Nomex material. The proposed contract action is for supplies which the Government intends to solicit and compete with only one sources, Vinyl Technology. (CAGE Code: 6T584), under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 because no other sources other than Vinyl Technologies LLC. are qualified to produce ATAGS currently. The Government currently owns the modified ATAGS technical data package (TDP). In addition, the Government cannot produce the Modified ATAGS and does not have the facilities and special test equipment to conduct CSI endurance or FAT testing for this system. However, Interested Parties or Persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quote(s). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. The USAF requirement is defined by Statement of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Screen Analysis Worksheet (SAW). It is anticipated that the RFP will be released in July 23, 2024. The RFP will be posted to the SAM webpage. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED. The technical data required to respond to the RFP may be obtained at the same website. All vendors are required to register. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. USAF anticipates using Lowest Price Technical Acceptable. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Buy American Act.
