The Ground Handling Adapter performs the function of providing a separate stabilizer assembly with the forward cradle in order to prevent movement between the aircraft and the trailer rails. The Ground Handling Adapter assembly transfers to other rail-type equipment by means of rollers and supports the engine during air or land transport; with assemblies, P/N 16A23034-811 and P/N 16A23034-809. The difference between the part numbers is the bracket, due to the fact that these adapters support different engines: the F110-GE-100 engine, supported by 16A23034-811 and the F100-PW-100/200/220 engine, supported by 16A23034-809 This adapter is uniquely used on the F-16 aircraft engine. This will be a five year contract with options.
