NSN: 4920-01-268-2007 P/N: BH112JD-80 Noun: Electronic Systems Test Set (JetCal Analyzer) Qty: 45 each over 5 years This requirement is for the procurement of the ESTS, commonly known as JetCal Analyzer, National Stock Number (NSN), 4920-01-268-2007RN, Part Number (P/N) BH112JD-80 (“JD-80”). The JD-80 is used for testing, supporting maintenance and sustainment of TF-33 engines used on B-52 and E-3 United States Air Force (USAF) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) aircraft. This requirement supports both USAF and FMS requirements. The JD-80 is used to perform test of gas turbine engines with aircraft on ground or it can be used in a test cell environment. It allows engine speed, fuel flow, fuel pressure, ambient temperature and pressure to be measured. The JD-80 also stores aircraft identification data and allows printout of test results. It includes a Data Acquisition Unit to control heater probe temperature, engine thermocouple harness and probe control unit for testing thermocouples. The JD-80 can analyze, record, and print critical engine parameters during engine operation in various environmental conditions. The JD-80 has military unique cable connections. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 23 July 2021. The RFP will be posted to the beta.SAM webpage. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED. The technical data required to respond to the RFP may be obtained at the same website. All vendors are required to register. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source Howell Instruments Inc. (CAGE Code: 98869) under authority of FAR 6.302-1 because the Government lacks technical data. However, Interested Party or Person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a quote(s). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the Buy American Act.
