The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for design, qualification and production of the Test Set, Electronics System NSN: 4920-01-497-2965, P/N BH112PA-77-3. The Test Set, Electronic Systems, which is a turbine engine data collection and analysis system used to determine J85-GE-5 engine condition and performance. The system contains hardware that collects and displays data, an executive software program that controls the configuration of the hardware, and engine specific application software that facilitates maintenance tests. Executive software provides the capability to perform system activities such as data acquisition, calibration, and report production. Application software is specifically designed to support testing of the J85-GE-5 turbojet afterburning engine. The system provides automated data recording, fault monitoring, and report production. NOUN NSN P/N Test Set, Electronic Systems 4920-01-497-2965 BH112PA-77-3 This requirement is for production only. This contract will be for five (5) ordering periods (12 months each). The projected quantities will be Best Estimated Quantities of four (4) per year. The Government does not own or have access to the data for this item. The sole source contractor for this effort is Howell Instruments, Inc., Original Equipment Manufacturer, Cage 98869.
