The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements for the procurement of Hydraulic System Test Set (HSTS). This requirement is for procurement of the test set. Our procurement strategy is a five-year contract for fiscal years 20-25. Basic year for three each with four options for three (3) each. Quantities are subject to change. The Hydraulic System Test Set (HSTS) was designed and manufactured specifically for compatibility and interfacing with the F-16 leading edge flap (LEF) motors. The LEF power drive unit hydraulic motor test set provides the means to operationally check two hydraulic motors on the LEF power drive unit while it is mounted on the aircraft. The test set is used to command the flaps to the up and down positions using the drive from the hydraulic motors.
