NSN: 4920-01-536-9212 P/N: FR216D0000-7 Noun: Universal External Fuel Tank Certifier BEQ: 35 over 5 years The Universal External Fuel Tank Certifier is used to test the external drop fuel tanks of F-15, F-16, F-22, F/A-35, C-130 and other fixed and rotary platforms with the appropriate adaptors. The unit connects incoming fuel from an external source and routes fuel to an external tank. During this process, it checks the internal tank floats, limit switches, measures fuel flow rates, and height sensor accuracy to ensure proper fuel distribution in the tanks. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 26 September 2020. The RFP will be posted to the beta.SAM webpage. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED. The technical data required to respond to the RFP may be obtained at the same website. All vendors are required to register. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source Products Support Inc. (CAGE Code: 53247) under authority of FAR 6.302-1 because the Government lacks technical data. However, Interested Party or Person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a quote(s). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the Buy American Act.
