The test kit is a specifically configured refueling receptacle and electrical control system designed to receive an aerial refueling boom nozzle. When connected, the test kit is used to test operation of the refueling control system, to include the refueling nozzle contact and lock, nozzle disconnect, boom nozzle leakage, control system ready state, and intercommunication system between the tanker aircraft and the fuel recipient aircraft via the boom nozzle.

It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 23 April 2020. The RFP will be posted to the beta.SAM webpage. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED. The technical data required to respond to the RFP may be obtained at the same website. All vendors are required to register. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source Parker-Hannifin (CAGE Code: 59211) under authority of FAR 6.302-1 because the Government lacks technical data. However, Interested Party or Person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a quote(s). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.
