This opportunity involves managing and supporting the product data systems and processes for the Product Services Division, which handles a vast array of technical data for the Department of the Air Force. The work includes supporting data management, conversion, storage, retrieval, and distribution processes. The infrastructure is a mix of standard DoD and locally developed systems. Services are to be performed at Robins. The environment currently manages approximately 75,000 technical orders, 8 million pages, 17 million engineering images, over 1 million CAD/CAM files, and over 5 million part configurations.
