Request for Information for U-2 Advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar System -2
The Government is conducting market research to identify sources with the repair data, expertise, manufacturing, engineering, software development, maintenance, and experience needed to repair and sustain ASARS-2 components and ground support equipment. The ASARS-2 sensor data are not Government-owned or accessible, the system is noncommercial, and contractors must furnish all materials, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services, including maintaining and calibrating support equipment at their or a subcontractor’s facility. The Air Force requires long-term Contractor Logistics Support and sustainment for ASARS-2, which provides near-real-time high-resolution, long-range imagery for the U-2, including engineering support, spare repair, failure/issue resolution, and availability/reliability/maintainability of fielded equipment and software. The effort also requires cybersecurity support compliant with NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-53, ICD 503, and CMMC, plus CIER/RMF/ATO-related authorization actions and Depot Maintenance Support Teams for software updates, DMS engineering, ECPs, configuration management, integration, data and technical data management, calibration, and sustainment improvements. Participation in this market research does not ensure participation in future solicitations or awards, and the Government will not reimburse participants’ expenses.
