Request for Information FA8528-23-R-EWS1 for U-2 Sensors Support and Sustainment Purpose/Description The Government anticipates soliciting a Support and Sustainment 5 year Contract from a sole source for the operation, maintenance and repair of the U-2 Sensors, AN/ALQ-221 Electronic Warfare System (EWS). The work is currently being performed by BAE Systems, Cage: 94117 under current contract FA8528-20-D-0009 . The Air Force requires long-term support and sustainment of the AN/AL ALQ-221 Electronic Warfare System (EWS), which provides situational awareness and self-protection to the Warfighter. The system consists of prime mission equipment, and associated factory test and field support equipment. The support and sustainment contract provides engineering services, spares, specialized repair activity, bonded stock, contractor field service representative technical support, diminishing manufacturer and materiel shortage analysis/issue resolution, tech data and reports, and threat analysis support. The purpose of this request is to conduct Market Research activity to gather information on whether any additional sources are capable of meeting this requirement. Requested Information: Please provide responses to the following: 1. If yes, please provide supporting rationale and documentation. If no, how will your organization address the absence of drawings, specifications, technical data, test procedures, etc? 2.
