This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. AFLCMC/WLSK intends to award a sole source contract to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics for the C-5 Avionics Modernization Program (AMP) and Reliability Enhancement and Re-Engineering Program (RERP) sustainment support. Sustainment support will include the following areas: Supply Chain Management Repair Management Processing services AMP- & RERP-peculiar replenishment spares Standard and non-standard repair processing services Travel Performance will take place in Marietta, GA. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, since the data is proprietary. This requirement will not be set-aside for small business and will be covered under NAICS code 336411. The anticipated contract will have a period of performance of 54 months with a 1-year basic, three (3) 1-year option periods and an option to extend services up to an additional six months. The approximate issue date for the Request for Proposal will be around 21 January 2020 with a response due date of 20 April 2020. The anticipated award date is 25 January 2021.
