The purpose of this requirement is intended to repair the Flight Engineer Articulating Arm (NSN: 5340- 01-527-7688; P/N: AMA084AASAIC), Flight Engineer Display (NSN: 7025-01-527-7689; P/N: AVM4090A), Pilot and Co-Pilot Displays (NSN: 7025-01-527-6510; P/N: AVM4055FN), Pilot and Co- Pilot Displays (NSN: 7025-01-679-4457; P/N: AVM4060N-M02001), and Flight Engineer Display (NSN: 7025-01-679-1505; P/N: AVM4128Q), and Recorder Reproducer (NSN: 7025-01-679-6783; P/N: AVR8411) applicable to the UH-1N helicopter. The Starfire Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) system has a Repair Method Code/Repair Method Suffix Code (RMC/RMSC) of “R3/R”. RMC: R3; Repair, for the second or subsequent time, directly from the actual manufacturer. RMSC: R, The Government does not own the data or the rights to be contract repair of this part from additional sources. It has been determined to be uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the data. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer the part. The contracting action resulting from this solicitation will be a firm-fixed-price Requirements Indefinite Delivery contract (IDC) with a one-year Basic Ordering Period, followed by four one-year Ordering Periods. The required Turn-Around-Time shall be ninety (60) calendar days after receipt of order, or receipt of reparable assets, whichever is later. The delivery destination will be Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, 31098. The approximate Solicitation Issue Date will be 18 May 2022. Once posted the solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading at www.sam.gov only. No telephone or fax requests will be honored. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. All quotes shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. Based upon market research, the Government will be using the policies contained in FAR Part 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements in its solicitation for the described services (10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)).
