FA8524-19-R-0001 SOLICITATION NOTICE. THIS ACQUISTION WILL BE A 5 YEAR FIRM- FIXED PRICE REQUIREMENTS TYPE CONTRACT WITH A BASIC AND (4) ONE YEAR OPTION PERIODS WITH BEST ESTIMATED QUANTITIES FOR THE FOLLOWING: This requirement is for the repair of 25-ea of the Logic Control Unit (LCU), Antenna Coupler, which is applicable to the AC/130U, MC130J, and MC-130 H Combat Talon II aircraft. The antenna coupler hardware is design to provide a highly accurate, repeatable and maintainable on-aircraft RF testing capability that can be used with appropriate RF sources or test sets. The requirement is military unique and cannot be acquired in the commercial market. This requirement is sole source to: Chelton, Inc., 1955 Lakeway, Dr., Lewisville, TX 75057. Authority: 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The basic requirement is for a best estimated quantity of 25 EA. The requirement also includes four (4) option years with a best estimated quantity of 30 each. All assets will be shipped FOB Origin to Supply central receiving Robins AFB, Ga. Solicitation is issued on 24 May 2019 with response due 24 June 2019, 30 days after solicitation issue date. Delivery is 30 calendar days after effective date of funded task order. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
