The Government intends to accomplish a Firm Fixed Price repair of the B-1 Integrated Keyboard (IKB). The IKB is a QWERTY keyboard with a numeric keypad, directional switches, a set of “F” function switches and several additional special switches. This requirement is to establish a 5-year repair contract with a BEQ of 5 each per year. The Part Number 441-909883-004 and the NSN 5895-01-650-1271 for the end item. The proposed contract action is for a service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source Symbolic Displays, Inc. CAGE code 19565, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to contract repair of parts from additional sources. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
