MAU-12 Bomb Rack Ejector Procurement FA8520-21-R-0001 AFLCMC/EBWI has a current requirement to procure MAU-12 Bomb Rack Ejector (NSN: 1095-01-398-7497) as replenishment spares for the United States Air Force (USAF) and to support F-16V aircraft production and delivery for multiple Foreign Military Sales (FMS). MAU-12: 1095-01-398-7497 P/N: 69J13060-9; AMC: 1G The MAU-12 is a pyrotechnic munitions ejection system which uses electrically fired dual impulse cartridges to generate gas pressure to operate the rack's release and ejection system. This bomb rack consists of components, which carry, arm, release and forcibly eject or free fall stores such as 5000 lb bombs or external fuel tanks. It incorporates four hooks in tandem providing 14 and 30 inch suspension capability. It uses electrically fired dual impulse cartridges to generate gas pressure to operate the racks release and eject mechanism. Store release is accomplished by using electrically fired impulse cartridges to provide gas pressure, which is used to actuate the release mechanism. The anticipated contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), ten (10) year, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity - Requirements contract. The contract will have a one (1) year basic period with nine (9) one-year option periods. The Government anticipates to award this sole source effort to Marvin Engineering Co. CAGE: 32067, in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government invites all sources who feel qualified to submit proposals and technical data for review, but the Government requires that the awardee of this effort be ready to perform at full capacity upon contract award. It should be noted this requirement will not be delayed for qualification purposes. No paper copies of solicitation will be mailed
