MAU-12 TER-9/A Bomb Rack Ejector Procurement FA8520-20-R-0010 AFLCMC/EBWI has a current requirement to procure MAU-12 Bomb Rack Ejector (NSN: 1095-01-398-7497) and TER-9/A (NSN: 1095-01-528-5082) as replenishment spares for the United States Air Force (USAF) and to support F-16V aircraft production and delivery for multiple Foreign Military Sales (FMS). Bomb Rack Ejector to support F-16V aircraft production and delivery for multiple Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. MAU-12: 1095-01-398-7497 P/N: 69J13060-9; AMC: 1G The MAU-12 is a pyrotechnic munitions ejection system which uses electrically fired dual impulse cartridges to generate gas pressure to operate the rack's release and ejection system. This bomb rack consists of components, which carry, arm, release and forcibly eject or free fall stores such as 5000 lb bombs or external fuel tanks. It incorporates four hooks in tandem providing 14 and 30 inch suspension capability. It uses electrically fired dual impulse cartridges to generate gas pressure to operate the racks release and eject mechanism. Store release is accomplished by using electrically fired impulse cartridges to provide gas pressure, which is used to actuate the release mechanism. TER-9/A: 1095-01-528-5082; P/N: 93104917-801A; AMC: 1G The TER-9/A uses electrically fired impulse cartridges (three total, one per rack) to generate gas pressure to operate the release and eject mechanism. Upon actuation, the rack release/eject mechanism forcibly ejects, or free fall releases, conventional stores up to 1,000 lb weight class from each station. Each rack can carry stores with a diameter between 9 and 16 inches (with a maximum diameter of 18.6 inches when loaded single on the center station). Stores can be fired independently or simultaneously with ripple delay, and a firing order of center, left and right stations. The TER-9/A strongback attaches to aircraft using 30 inch suspension and each of the three store stations has two tandem hooks which provide 14 inch suspension capability.
