NSN 5998011835275KV is a MODEM B, DIGITAL (Circuit Card Assembly 1A16A2A9), the Next Higher Assembly is the Electronic System Test Set (ESTS), AN/GSM-263G. The AN/GSM-263G is a version of the ESTS Cruise Missile Test Station. The Cruise Missile and Depot ATE test stations are designed to check/test, diagnose, and repair Cruise Missile and Depot ATE LRUs and Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs). They operate under computer control to provide power, generate stimuli, monitor/switch/process, and measure test signals. These check and test capabilities are essential for sustaining the Cruise Missile and Depot ATE LRUs & SRUs.
