The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of manufacturing, assembling, testing, and delivering 94 Arkham SMP Production Kits and 55 spares. The Arkham SMP is a SOSA-based mission processor for AC/MC-130J system integration, using five Intel general-purpose processor modules for video/general processing and two ARM safety-critical processor modules, with red/gold/black network zones and LYNXOS plus Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The acquisition strategy is contractor kit production with a seven-year period of performance. Kits will include two Arkham Units, two External Data Storage devices, two 1 TB Delkin SSDs, and other aircraft-installation hardware to enhance AC/MC-130J search and rescue in increased threat environments. Potential sources must develop prototype hardware, software, and technical data; fully test and evaluate the kit and spares; and provide source data to update AFTOs and TDPs.
