This is a notice of intent that the Warner Robins Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (WR-AFLCMC), Robins AFB GA, anticipates issuing a 5 year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Cost-Reimbursement, No-Fee contract with a basic year plus four-one-year- option periods for Engineering Services, Material, Travel, and Data. This requirement is for support of all SOF/PR C-130 aircraft with a focus on cyber support, analysis of modifications, repair, design and analysis, reverse engineering of components, testing through laboratory and field methods, continued development, and support of Mechanical Equipment and Subsystems Integrity Program (MECSIP) and Avionics Integrity Program (AVIP) through the use of reliability assessment teams, analyses and quick-turn prototyping aimed at increasing aircraft reliability, and availability, sustainability, and maintainability across the fleet. MERC is the only vendor (institution) with the technical expertise and CAD software tools needed to sustain the testing and evaluation required to maintain FEM in support of sustainment of SOF aircraft. This software was developed by MERC at their expense to generate and/or validate complex finite element models. Please see attached snopsis for additional information.
