This competitive acquisition, in accordance with FAR Subpart 16.5 Ordering Procedures for Fair Opportunity, is set aside for Small Business to be awarded as an order under the Special Operations Forces/Personnel Recovery (SOF/PR) Multiple Award Contract for Modifications (MACM) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Pool A Fixed Wing. This procurement of the service to relocate the Fuselage Trainer (hereafter FuT) from its current location at Bob Strike Airport, Crestview FL to the 492nd SOTRSS Hurlburt Field, FL location. The FuT is a C-130H fuselage without wings, vertical stab and horizontal stab. The FuT still retains the landing gear and is towable using a standard C-130 tow bar. The aircraft needs to be weighed. Height measurement from ground to Dorsal is 18' - 10" and from ground to Tip of Antenna is 19'-3". The width measurement across stub wings = 16'-6", across the MLG Sponsons = 17'-16" (approx.), across open MLG doors = 18'-0" (approx.). These measurements were taken with tires and landing gear struts properly serviced. The FuT has had its center wing box cut in-line to the fuselage. The aircraft has had a 30mm gun port installed in the forward left fuselage and a 105mm gun port installed in aft fuselage. The 30mm and 105mm components not installed therefor will not need to be moved. No classified components located on FuT and no functional testing requirement.
