This requirement is part of Phase IV of a follow-on current requirement. The Government intends to purchase and deliver a total of forty-five (45) Paratroop Bubble Door ship sets in support of the HC-130J and the AC-130J aircrafts. The performance of this modification will be accomplished by a Depot Field Team (DFT) at each aircraft home location. Each kit will include the following: Bubble Door 737 beam modification kit Large spring-loaded counter balance negator National Institute of Justice (NIJ) Level III protective armor The applicable NAICS code is 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing) business size standard of 1,250 employees. In addition, this procurement will utilize the policies and procedures of FAR Part 15 “Contracting by Negotiation.” The Government has determined that this item is not a commercial item. The Government anticipates this requirement to be a sole source award to Airdyne Aerospace based on the Sources Sought posted 22 Feb 2024 and completed Market Research dated 12 Mar 2024.
