The VSD is a subassembly of the Air Refueling Pod installed on Air Force Special Operations Command MC-130J aircraft, originally designed by Sergeant Fletcher. At this time, the Government is investigating the ability for the manufacturing of the VSD to be released as a competitive acquisition.
