The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources who may possess the necessary expertise, capabilities, and experience to manufacture the SOF MC-130J Variable Speed Drogue (VSD) detailed in the two (2) attachments posted with this annoucement. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in accordance with FAR 52.215-3 Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes. The attachments included in this annoucement are: Attachment 1 Sources Sought Synopsis for the MC-130J VSD and Attachment 2 the Draft Statement of Work (SOF). Please complete and return Attachment 1 to the point of contacts (POCs) listed in the document. Request that industry responses be provided not later than (NLT) 03 April 2020 4:30PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). For this potential contract action, the Government is contemplating an Indefinite Delievery Indefinite Quanity Requirements Contract with a period of performance of five (5) years.
