This is a noncompetitive, sole-source procurement for 217 AN/APX-119-0541 transponder units for C-130J aircraft, intended for the Air Force Reserve Command, Air National Guard, and U.S. Air Force. The work will be performed under an existing umbrella contract with RTX Corporation/Raytheon, which has a maximum ceiling of $50 billion and was awarded on August 1, 2025. The requirement is to enable specific Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) capabilities while selectively inhibiting other position reporting systems.
