The requirement is for the production and related support of 4 full palletized roll-on/roll-off Electronic Modular Aerial Spray System (EMASS) units, and one retrofit kit, as well as testing/certification of the replacement EMASS on a C-130J equipped to interface with the EMASS. The EMASS system will maintain the same physical characteristics and interface with the aircraft the same as the legacy MASS. Additionally, EMASS will interface with the Next Generation Agricultural-Global Positioning System (AG-GPS). When combined with the existing on-aircraft hardware, the EMASS production kits will allow the Government to install a fully operational EMASS unit on the C-130J aircraft.
