The Office of AFLCMC/WLNKA intends to award this requirement via modification to a competitively awarded non-commercial contract (FA8504-20-C-0004) for the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD), testing, production, and installation of Retardant Delivery System (RDS) units on seven (7) United States Coast Guard (USCG) HC-130H aircraft. This scope of this new requirement includes program management activities necessary to oversee the completion of the design, build, testing, and installation of the RDS kits. This requirement will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) modification with an anticipated period of performance of 39 months. The requirement will be sole source to the following: Canadian Commercial Corporation (CAGE: 98247) 350 ALBERT ST SUITE 700 OTTAWA ON K1A 0S6 CANADA This sole source requirement is pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Please be advised this notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals Canadian Commercial Corporation currently provides these long-term sustainment services for the C-130J program under a USAF contract. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will NOT be responsible for any cost incurred by interested parties in responding to this synopsis. The Government is not obligated to, and will not, pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation.
