The Robins Enterprise Data Center (REDC) has a requirement to procure new equipment to replace aging storage equipment. The requirement must be manfactured by Dell, Model Unity 480F XT with and includes a 5 year warranty. The solution should have 300TB effective space in an all-flash solution with redundant 10G optical connectivity and redundant power supplies. This solution should support file (CIFS/NFS) and block (iSCSI/FC) data connections. The NAS should also be able to support RAID 5 and RAID 6 data protection as well as fully automated storage tiering. The appliance needs to be on a DoDIN APL list and be FIPS140-2 Level 1 certified out of the box. We also require 5 years of 24x7 support, initial on-site deployment configuration, initial training prior to handoff to the customer, and on-site data migration from existing Dell VNX2 5600 arrays. The new appliance should also be compatible with Avamar NDMP backups.
